Youran Zhou is a PhD candidate in the School of Information Technology at Deakin University, specializing in generative models, incomplete data, and machine learning.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Melbourne, where her studies combined Statistics and Computer Science. Her strong interdisciplinary background enables her to bridge statistical rigor with computational efficiency in designing practical and reproducible algorithms.
